Introduction

Create two lines facing off for a tug of war.

Description

Both groups mime the rope between them as one group. There is no competition between the groups. The goal is to make the rope look as real as possible When one group mimes extra effort the opposing group mimes a response to that effort. The leader must pay attention to whether the rope is stretching too much, or defying material physics. The leader can endow one group to be winning or endow a certain players to become sleepy.

This is both a physical warm up and way to show the benefits of ensemble work. The warm up works best when every player is miming the best rope they can.
